If a minor is travelling with just one of his or her parents, we recommend that the parent carries a legalised parental authorisation from the other parent.
If a minor is travelling with a third party, this person should carry a legalised parental authorisation from both parents.
Please note, in the case of air travel, in some instances minors travelling without this certificate have been unable to board their flight.
- The authorisation can be handwritten by the parent(s) or you can use the template provided by the Town Hall.
- You will need your identity card.
- The procedure is free of charge.
- The parental authorisation must be legalised by the town hall in the parents’ (or parent’s) place of residence.
