Age 55, a Town Councillor since 1982, and Deputy Mayor for Sports and Youth from 1988 to 1994, this electrical teacher is no stranger to local government! After 24 years of political life in Rebecq you’ve signed up for another six, don’t you feel tired of it all yet?

Not at all. I was enthusiastic about the planned launch of Action Communale and the group dynamics are excellent. This encouraged me to get involved again. Rebecq is a great village. We don’t always realise how lucky we are to live in this rural setting. We plan to improve our environment, to make our village an even better place to live. I aim to take a human and sensitive approach to issues, to listen.
